JAKE’S REVENGE 2016 MYSTERY THRILLER A SHIVA NOVEL
Mary Jo Thibodeaux is a former military Intelligence officer whose coolness in tense situations and fearlessness in combat earned her the nickname of Shiva the Goddess of Destruction. She has left the military to manage her civil engineering firm in Mobile, Alabama, but is bored stiff. Mary Jo accepts an offer to investigate the fifty year old disappearance of Jake Broussard, the Alabama U.S. Attorney who has not been seen since 1964, and she exposes long forgotten conspiracies and hatreds as she sets about to solve the mystery.
MY MAGIC YEAR 2015 MISSISSIPPI STATES 2013 FOOTBALL
In 2013, Mississippi State’s Bulldogs were voted the #1 team for several weeks in mid-season, and My Magic Year chronicles—through the eyes of a life-long fan—each game as it was played. The Dawg’s ended the season with losses to Alabama and Ole Miss and were crushed in a bowl game, but as excruciating as it was, it was still our best season since 1941.
will d…a life in science 2014 BIOGRAPHY OF DR. WILL D. CARPENTER
It was my great honor to be chosen to write the story of Dr. Will D. Carpenter, and to bring to light his many achievements as a scientist, statesman and philanthropist. During his career with Monsanto, he led the team that brought Roundup to market, in his effort to help feed the world. He worked tirelessly with a group for over 20 years to develop a chemical weapons treaty, and the organization that resulted won a Nobel Prize in 2013. His lifelong support of women’s rights and education has made a difference in many lives, and I am proud to call Will my friend and mentor.
COW COLLEGE 2012 TALES OF MISSISSIPPI STATE COLLEGE IN THE 1950’S
When I arrived on the Mississippi State campus in the fall of 1957, I immediately fell in love. Mississippi State and I were made for each other, and I loved every minute of my four years there. Cow College is my attempt to capture the flavor and character of my alma mater.
DELTA DAYS 2011 TALES OF THE MISSISSIPPI DELTA
I grew up in a great place at a great time. The Mississippi Delta in 1950 was a haunted and beautiful place. We hunted, fished, played sports, and did a lot of just plain fooling around. This is my attempt to pay tribute to my long gone youth, experienced in a long gone place.
